Presents Montenapoleone yesterday and today

Museo Bagatti Valsecchi -

Via Gesù, 5 - 20121 Milano

Come to the museum or ask the Armani Hotel Milano Lifestyle team for your free guide for a unique experience in augmented reality.
Milan's fashion district returns to the splendour of centuries past thanks to the "Montenapoleone yesterday and today" project, an augmented reality experience accessible through a free guide and an app that takes the visitor back in time to the late 19th and early 20th century.

Exceptional ciceroni are the brothers Giuseppe and Fausto Bagatti Valsecchi, who tell the story of how people lived in the district in those years, the very ones who furnished the family home, drawing inspiration from 16th-century Lombard houses and creating the House Museum that we all know today.

The printed guide, combined with the Aria app, which is also free of charge, will allow everyone to immerse themselves in an augmented reality experience that, stage by stage, will take the user on a "journey through time".

The "Montenapoleone ieri e oggi" project is realised by Alkanoids with Manolo Turri, Maria Cristina Cipriani and Yuh Kuo Tai, in collaboration with the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum and the company eArs, and thanks to the contribution of InnovaMusei, Regione Lombardia, Unioncamere Lombardia and Fondazione Cariplo.

The functioning of "Montenapoleone ieri e oggi" is very simple: after downloading the free Aria app on your smartphone, just frame the images on the printed guide on the app and wait a few moments for the contents to load: animations, short films, period images, narrating voices and sound suggestions will automatically appear.
